John C.M. Ross is a veteran lobbyist with more than 20 years of experience in the public policy and political arenas.
Prior to his involvement in the governmental relations field, Ross served as executive director of the Alabama Republican Party and oversaw the intensive 2010 campaign effort that led the GOP to capture the Alabama Legislature for the first time in 136 years and enjoy supermajorities in both chambers. The ALGOP also swept all statewide offices and gained two congressional seats under Ross’ leadership.
Ross was the district representative for Congressman Robert Aderholt (R - AL 4) from 2003 to 2007 and was an instrumental member of Gov. Bob Riley’s 2002 campaign staff and inaugural committee.
As a principal campaign consultant, he has won more than a dozen races for Republican candidates on both the state and federal levels.
A graduate of the University of Richmond, Ross also holds a Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of Alabama.
He and his wife, Allison, a hospital executive and former economic developer, reside in Guntersville, and they have two children.
